Listener account terms
Version 2026-10-19. These terms apply to Goodneighbor Blues listener accounts. The service is operated by Goodneighbor Works, based in Athens, McMinn County, Tennessee, United States.
1. Your account and email
You must be at least 18 and provide an email address you control. Verify that address before using account benefits. Choose a public nickname and keep your password confidential. You are responsible for activity you authorize through your account. Contact support promptly about unauthorized access. Do not impersonate another person or evade access restrictions.
2. Free and subscriber access
Live radio and videos are available without an account. A verified free account adds listener chat and up to one lyric-draft request per rolling 24 hours. A currently active subscriber membership adds on-demand listening to available catalog recordings, and up to three lyric-draft requests per rolling 24 hours. Membership is verified by the service or granted explicitly by an administrator. Catalog availability, capacity limits, maintenance and reasonable abuse controls apply. Creating an account does not start a paid subscription. Prices, billing periods, cancellation and payment terms must be presented separately before a paid service is purchased.
3. Recordings and your library
Purchased and administrator-unlocked recordings can be downloaded from your account. Administrator downloads are available for library management. On-demand catalog listening requires an active subscriber membership or administrator access; owning a recording does not grant that feature. Private receipt links can link an older purchase to a verified account with the same email. Purchases are for personal use; redistribution is not permitted. PayPal processes payments; this site does not collect card details. Contact support for missing, duplicate or failed downloads and refund requests. This does not limit rights under applicable law. On-demand listening does not grant ownership of the recording, permission to redistribute it, or permanent subscriber access after a membership expires. Recordings separately purchased and verified by the store remain associated with the purchasing account independently of subscription status. We retain ownership records and recording references when a release leaves the public catalog. Keep your own permitted backups when downloads are offered. Access may be temporarily interrupted for maintenance or an outage; these terms do not promise that any hosted service will operate forever. Contact support about missing purchases. Refunds, reversals, fraud and applicable law may affect a download entitlement.
4. AI-assisted lyrics and your submissions
Only submit material you have permission to use. Do not include another person’s private information or request unlawful, infringing or abusive content. You retain rights you already hold in your input and give us permission to process it to provide the requested feature. AI results may be inaccurate, repetitive, unsuitable, or similar to other material. We do not guarantee originality, copyright protection, commercial suitability, or any particular musical result. Generated files are temporary unless a separate saved-library feature expressly says otherwise. Limits are enforced by the server and may include queue and connection controls. The songwriting desk produces editable lyrics and style prompts. You can choose to copy them into Suno, a separate service, to generate music and vocals; Goodneighbor Blues does not submit your draft to Suno.
5. Chat and acceptable use
Chat is public. No harassment, threats, impersonation, spam, unauthorized advertising, malware, or infringement. Moderators may remove messages, restrict posting, suspend accounts or revoke access to protect listeners and the service. Do not share passwords, private receipt links or sensitive personal information in chat.
Automated participants
Some named participants in the Reading Room are fictional characters operated by automated software. Chat also uses automated moderation, with operator review available. These characters may take part in conversation, but their posts and presence do not represent human listeners and are excluded from real visitor counts. Automated responses can be mistaken, delayed or unavailable. Automated characters must answer truthfully if asked whether they are automated. The operator can review participation and moderation activity.
6. Email and privacy
Service emails include verification, password recovery, security and purchase communications. Optional promotional email requires a separate choice and can be withdrawn without losing free listening access. Registering does not authorize sale of your email address or sharing your personal information for third-party advertising. See the privacy notice for data handling and service providers.
7. Closing an account
You can sign out devices, export your account information and close your account from account settings. Closing stops account access and optional marketing; it does not automatically erase legally required transaction records. Keep your purchase references for support when closing your account. Contact support for restoration, corrections, deletion requests or purchase assistance.
8. Service terms and legal rights
To the extent permitted by applicable law, this service and experimental features are provided as available, without warranties of uninterrupted operation or fitness for a particular purpose. We are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses to the extent the law permits that limitation. Nothing excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. Tennessee law governs these terms except where mandatory applicable law requires otherwise. Material changes will be disclosed and, when required, accepted before they apply. These terms do not create a waiver of rights that applicable law makes nonwaivable.

Monthly song selections
The published monthly membership includes five recording selections for each verified paid billing month, in addition to on-demand listening. You choose eligible recordings from the available catalog. Confirming a selection adds its recording to your download library; merely streaming it does not use a selection. Selected recordings remain associated with your account after you cancel or your membership expires. Unused selections end with that billing period and do not roll over. A failed or unverified payment does not add a monthly allowance. Refunds, payment reversals and support holds may affect the recordings funded by that payment without removing unrelated purchases or administrator grants. The checkout shows the recurring price and cancellation terms before enrollment.
